Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with daily living activities for residents. The role includes administering prescribed medications within scope, documenting in EMAR/MAR, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, completed Medication Aide Course, and GA CNA/Med Tech licenses in good standing. Flexibility for weekends/holidays and ability to lift and assist residents are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech license from the State Board of Nursing in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must satisfactorily pass all medication cart audits assigned.
• Must attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to RN/LPN or ED as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties and maintain daily logs.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance and emergencies.
• Communicate resident status and upcoming information in writing and verbally.
• Assist with move-in transitions and provide emotional support.
• Attend medication trainings and complete med cart audits as directed.
• Represent the community in a positive and professional manner.
