Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a dedicated Med Tech to provide quality care, assist residents with daily living activities, and administer prescribed medications within the established scope of practice. Must have a High School Diploma or GED, completed Medication Aide Course, and current CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.

CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain within 60 days) is required.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech license from the State Board of Nursing in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality care and assists with activities of daily living for residents.
• Assists with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures for the position.
• Communicates resident status and care needs to the team and updates logs.
