Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Roanoke, Virginia is seeking a part-time Medication Tech (Med Tech) to provide daily living assistance and support medication administration for residents. You will work with the nursing team, complete medication cart audits, and document in EMAR/MAR while following policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals and activities, reporting health changes, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech license from the State Board of Nursing in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist with the administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Perform housekeeping duties and assist residents with meals and activities.
• Maintain daily logs and EMAR/MAR documentation.
• Attend medication trainings and complete required audits.
