Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Med Tech in Roanoke, VA to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities, including medication administration within the allowed scope of practice.

The role requires completion of the Medication Aide Course and possession of a current CNA and Med Tech license in good standing, with ongoing medication training and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The candidate should be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have completed Medication Aide Course and hold CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications within the established scope of practice.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and maintain clean resident areas as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Document medication administration on EMAR/MAR and communicate changes to the HCD.
