Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Morgantown, WV seeks a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with daily living activities and prescribed medications. You will follow policies, document accurately in EMAR/MAR, and collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and the health care director to ensure resident safety.

The role requires a high school credential, medication aide coursework, and current CNA/Med Tech licenses, with CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed Medication Aide Course and valid CNA/Med Tech licenses.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays and multitask in a care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Support residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and medical records.
• Perform housekeeping duties and help with meals and dining room activities.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Document medication administration and cart audits, and communicate needs to HCD.
• Assist in planning activities and provide emotional support during move-in transitions.
• Attend medication trainings and complete required in-services.
