Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Bridgeport, West Virginia seeks a Med Tech to provide quality resident care and medication assistance within the scope of practice. The role supports daily living activities, responds to calls, and participates in activity planning in a team environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of Medication Aide Course, and current CNA and Med Tech licenses. Candidates must pass medication observations and cart audits and stay CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech license in good standing.
• Must satisfactorily pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must satisfactorily pass all medication cart audits.
• Must attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance and emergencies.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Plan and conduct activity programs for residents.
• Communicate resident status and upcoming events to HCD, RN/LPN, or ED.
• Move residents safely to dining and activities and assist with transfers.
