Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is a leading senior living provider in Winston-Salem, NC seeking a Med Tech to support residents with daily living activities and medication administration.

The role requires current CNA and Med Tech licenses, completion of a Medication Aide Course, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days. Flexibility for weekends/holidays and a compassionate approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed Medication Aide Course required.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Pass all medication cart audits.
• Attend 4 hours of medication administration education annually.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.
• Must be a contributing member of the nursing team and follow supervisor instructions.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willing to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Maintain knowledge of all policies and procedures.
• Report incidents and changes in resident status to appropriate staff.
• Perform housekeeping tasks as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Communicate status and upcoming events to residents and families.
• Assist residents with move-in transitions and emotional support.
• Complete medication cart audits and document in EMAR/MAR.
