Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician (Med Tech – CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate care to residents, assisting with medication administration and daily living activities. You will join a supportive team focused on resident comfort, safety, and wellbeing.

The role requires a CNA/HCA license, First Aid/CPR, and 12 months of medication administration experience, with weekend rotation possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CNA or HCA license per state regulations.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Certificates or willingness to obtain within a set period.
• At least 12 months of medication administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory and coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Encourage participation in enrichment activities and engage residents.
• Maintain open communication with healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
