Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician (Med Tech – CNA/HCA) to administer medications and support residents with daily living activities in a compassionate, team-oriented environment.

Qualified candidates will have a valid CNA/HCA license, First Aid/CPR, and a willingness to obtain required certificates. Weekend rotation and a focus on resident dignity are essential components of this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medication administration per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report status changes.
• Manage medication inventory and coordinate with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activities and maintain open communication with residents, families and staff.
