Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Med Tech – CNA/HCA to provide compassionate medication assistance and daily living support to residents. You will work as part of a team to ensure safety, comfort, and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities include medication administration, adherence to protocols, inventory management, and engaging residents in activities while maintaining clear communication with healthcare professionals and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication, including self-administration as outlined in care plans.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and storage; coordinate with pharmacies for re-orders.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment programs and maintain open communication with staff, families, and residents.
