Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Med Tech – CNA/HCA to provide compassionate medication administration and daily living support to residents. You will be part of a team fostering a nurturing environment focused on safety and comfort.

The role emphasizes accuracy in documentation, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and promoting resident independence through engaging activities and strong communication with families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations.
• First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Certificates or willingness to obtain.
• 12 months of medication administration experience.
• Memory care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication as per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and storage, coordinate re-orders and deliveries.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Promote independence and offer continuous engagement and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Foster open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents and staff.
