Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking Medication Technicians (Med Tech – CNA/HCA) to provide compassionate, hands-on medication administration and daily living assistance to residents in a supportive environment.

You will work with a caring team to ensure safety, dignity, and well-being, while adhering to personalized care plans and documentation protocols. Weekend rotation may be required to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state CNA or HCA license per state regulations.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• Nurse Delegation and Diabetes Specialty Certificates or willingness to obtain within a prescribed period.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory and storage; coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Promote independence and engage residents with life enrichment activities.
• Foster open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents and staff.
