Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician (Med Tech/CMA) to provide compassionate, direct care to residents, assisting with medication administration and activities of daily living according to individualized care plans.

You will be part of a team that fosters a supportive environment, prioritizing resident safety, comfort, and well-being, with weekend rotation and opportunity for growth within our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid state medication administration license (such as CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP/Certified Caregiver) or meet state requirements for medication administration in assisted living.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medication administration, including self-administration as per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory and coordinate re-orders and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activities and foster open communication among residents, families, and staff.
