Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital in Pico Rivera, CA seeks a Clinical Staff Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-family centered care on a 12-hour shift in the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit.

The role emphasizes nursing process, SBAR communication, and adherence to the Watson Model of Care. The ideal candidate has a California RN license, 1 year of clinical nursing experience (Med-Surg/Telemetry or Critical Care preferred), and basic EKG competence.

Formación

• Bachelor in Nursing degree required.
• Associate in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or equivalent; MLKCH Versant Nurse Residency considered.
• Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience; Med/Surg/Telemetry or Critical Care preferred.
• California Nursing license required; BLS/ACLS preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform nursing processes to plan and deliver patient care.
• Conduct focused assessments and adjust plans accordingly.
• Maintain patient-family centered care following standards.
• Demonstrate SBAR communication during hand-offs.
• Document care in IPOC and utilize Watson Model of Care.
• Assist in discharge planning and care coordination.
