Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking a Clinical Staff Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-family centered care on the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit.

You will work 12-hour shifts under the Manager of Medical-Surgical Telemetry and participate in care planning using the Watson Model of Care. The role requires a California RN license, current BLS/ACLS, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Nursing degree required; internal candidates with Versant Nurse Residency will be considered.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience; Med/Surg/Telemetry or Critical Care preferred.
• Current California Nursing license; basic EKG competence; CPI/ACLS/BLS certifications preferred.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates nursing process as a problem-solving model and plans care.
• Prioritizes and coordinates care; communicates changes to physician and team.
• Documents care using IPOC and Watson Model; ensures care follows policies.
• Maintains patient safety, comfort, and education; participates in unit safety goals.
• Collaborates with care managers for discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Engages in unit orientation and training as needed.
