Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical/Surgical unit in Great Falls, Montana. This hospital-based position is full-time and on-site, with multiple shifts available and a supportive team environment focused on optimal nurse-to-patient ratios.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN (BSN preferred), Montana RN licensure, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. New grads are encouraged to apply and a $20,000 retention bonus is offered for external candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in Montana or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be active or completed within 6 months of hire.
• No minimum experience required; Med/Surg or Pediatric experience preferred; new grads encouraged.
• Solid IV insertion/management skills and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide care for pediatric and adult patients with acute medical conditions or pre/post-surgical needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Communicate with patients and families, providing education and support while upholding nursing standards.
• Serve as clinical leader on the floor, guiding LPNs, CNAs, and dietary staff.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and coordinate discharge planning.
