Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join their inpatient unit in Great Falls, MT. The role offers full-time, on-site shifts across multiple schedules, with a supportive team culture and excellent nurse-to-patient ratios.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in Montana or eligible for compact/endorsement, and BSN preferred. A 20k retention bonus is offered to external candidates, along with comprehensive benefits and a strong clinical team

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Montana RN license or immediate compact/endorsement eligibility.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS active or completed within 6 months of hire;
• Experience: No minimum experience required; Med/Surg or Pediatric nursing preferred; new grads encouraged.
• Core Skills: IV insertion/management, basic nursing principles and procedures, and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Provide comprehensive care for pediatric and adult patients with acute medical conditions or perioperative needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and leadership to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Communicate with patients and families, providing physical, emotional, and educational support.
• Serve as clinical floor leader, coordinating with LPNs, CNAs, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate electronic health documentation reflecting patient status and discharge planning.
