6 Degrees Search is seeking compassionate Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) to join an inpatient Med/Surg unit in Great Falls, Montana. This full-time, on-site role offers multiple shifts, strong nurse-to-patient ratios, robust administrative support, and a team-focused culture.

Ideal candidates hold ADN (BSN preferred), MT RN license (compact/endorsement eligible), and active BLS/ACLS/PALS. External candidates may be eligible for a $20,000 retention bonus; comprehensive benefits are

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted RN license in Montana (or compact/endorsement eligibility).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS active or within 6 months of hire.
• Experience: No minimum required; med/surg or pediatric preferred.
• Core Skills: IV insertion/management, nursing principles, basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process (assessment to discharge).
• Care for pediatric and adult patients with acute medical conditions or pre/post-surgical needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support.
• Provide leadership on the floor to LPNs, CNAs, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate electronic health documentation and discharge coordination.
