Job summary

Joseph Michaels International seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical/Surgical unit in Great Falls, MT. This full-time, on-site role offers multiple shifts and a supportive hospital environment with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios.

You will assess patients, provide care for pediatric and adult cases, collaborate with the care team, document electronically, and serve as floor clinical leader. Competitive benefits and a retention bonus are included.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Montana (or compact/endorsement eligibility).
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be current or within 6 months of hire.
• No minimum experience required; Med/Surg or Pediatric preferred.
• Proficient IV insertion and basic office/computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Care for pediatric and adult patients with acute conditions or perioperative needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including the Acute Care Director and Charge Nurse.
• Communicate with patients and families, providing support and education.
• Act as clinical floor leader, guiding LPNs, CNAs, housekeeping, and dietary staff.
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records and discharge coordination.
