Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Med Surg Unit 1. The RN will provide general nursing care to patients and families across diverse acute care settings and will be accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing.

The RN delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs according to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Shift is Day, with 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• RN license from the State of Ohio (or compact state).
• BLS certification required.
• BSN degree required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Document planned interventions to achieve patient outcomes.
• Lead and participate in process improvement for quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team.
