Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a registered nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in our Med Surg Unit 1. The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs, ensuring safe, high-quality care for patients.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or a multi-state compact license.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN is required within 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status and plan nursing interventions.
• Document and implement nursing care plans with evaluation of outcomes.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Participate in process improvements to enhance clinical quality and patient safety.
• Contribute to safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization.
