Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care across the continuum in a 24/7/365 department. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care while delegating tasks to licensed practical nurses and UAPs as allowed by the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Minimum qualifications include an Ohio RN license, BLS certification and a BSN with five years of employment experience preferred. Day shift, 36 hours per week in Med Surg Unit 1.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN degree required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to patients and families across diverse, acute care settings.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Participate in process improvement and maintain safety, quality and efficiency.
