Sun Recruiting, Inc. is assisting a regional healthcare system in Great Falls, MT to recruit a dedicated Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for an inpatient Med/Surg unit.

This full-time, on-site role offers multiple shifts and a supportive environment with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios. The position emphasizes teamwork, high standards of patient care, and long-term professional development in a scenic Montana community with excellent quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Montana (or compact/endorsement eligibility).
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications active or within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, professional patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide comprehensive care for pediatric and adult patients with various acute medical conditions or undergoing pre/post-surgical care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and the Acute Care Director to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, supporting physical, emotional, and educational needs.
• Act as a clinical lead on the floor, guiding LPNs, CNAs, housekeeping, and dietary staff.
• Maintain accurate electronic health documentation reflecting patient status and discharge planning.
