Job summary

Allegheny Health Network’s Canonsburg Hospital seeks a capable Nurse Manager for the 2 West Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit. You will lead daily operations, coordinate clinical and administrative activities, and mentor staff to deliver high-quality patient care in a 40-bed unit.

The role requires an RN with a Bachelor's in Nursing and current PA or multi-state licensure, plus at least 1 year of clinical leadership. A strong focus on patient safety, quality, and staff development is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC is required.
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrated clinical leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations of the patient care department.
• Promote staff development and nursing certification within the unit.
• Ensure patient safety, regulatory readiness, and adherence to professional standards.
• Collaborate to meet patient experience goals and address concerns.
• Manage departmental finances and resources to maintain budgetary compliance.
