Job summary

Allegheny Health Network’s 2West Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit seeks a registered nurse to assess and plan care, lead a collaborative team, and participate in quality and safety initiatives. The RN is accountable for delivering high-quality care and coordinating with RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and support staff.

The role emphasizes professional development, adherence to clinical guidelines, and partnership with physicians and the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• One year nursing experience preferred.
• Certification in area of specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide transformational leadership in a professional practice setting and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Apply nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
