Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking an experienced Nursing Adjunct Faculty to teach didactic and clinical courses and lead simulation experiences. The role requires a graduate degree and at least three years of direct patient care as an RN, with preference for prior nursing education experience.

The position emphasizes curriculum development, student assessment, and collaboration with course leads to ensure alignment across clinical rotations and didactic content.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required; if the graduate degree is not in nursing, a Bachelor’s in nursing plus a graduate degree in a related discipline is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of work experience as a professional RN providing direct patient care.
• Current unencumbered state RN license or enhanced compact licensure relevant to the teaching location.
• Certified Nurse Educator certification and national certification in nursing specialty are preferred.
• Experience teaching in a registered nursing program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic and clinical courses to nursing students.
• Lead simulation learning experiences in the Nursing Lab.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum to meet program objectives.
• Assess and document student performance; provide timely feedback.
• Advise and support students in their academic progression.
• Collaborate with Course Lead Faculty to ensure alignment of rotations and assessments.
