Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking an experienced Nursing Adjunct Faculty member to support didactic and clinical instruction. The role emphasizes strong Med/Surg nursing background and adherence to the college's values of Passion, Adaptability, Accountability, Integrity, and Excellence.

The successful candidate will develop and deliver curriculum, supervise simulations in the Nursing Lab, assess student performance, and maintain records.

Qualifications

Must have graduate degree; if not in nursing, must have a BSN and graduate degree in a related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience as a professional registered nurse providing direct patient care.
Previous teaching experience in a registered nursing program is preferred.
Current unencumbered RN license or enhanced compact license for the teaching location.

Responsibilities

Develops, implements, teaches, evaluates, and revises nursing curriculum.
Teaches didactic and clinical courses and evaluates student learning.
Leads simulation experiences in the Nursing Lab.
Maintains student performance records and communicates progress.
Assists with curriculum design and program evaluation.
