Arizona College of Nursing seeks an adjunct instructor to teach on campus and in-person across nursing courses. You will use lectures, demonstrations, and technology to support student learning and assess achievement.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or higher from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 15 credit hours in the assigned subject area.
• Two years of practical experience in the course content area needed.
• Three years of work experience as an educator preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Teach on campus and in-person using a variety of methods.
• Keep students engaged with an established curriculum.
• Create positive educational climate with clear objectives.
• Meet course and school-wide student performance goals.
• Manage student behavior in classroom and online.
• Identify students at risk and refer to Student Success Coordinator.
• Provide advisement and tutoring as needed.
• Grade tests, maintain grade books, track attendance, perform admin duties.
• Administer assessments to measure progress and training effectiveness.
• Participate in academic committees and professional development activities.
