Arizona College of Nursing is seeking an experienced Adjunct Nursing Faculty to deliver didactic and clinical instruction, guiding nursing students through core courses and clinical rotations with the college's values in mind.

You will design, teach, and evaluate curriculum, lead simulation labs, and collaborate with Course Lead Faculty to support student success and program alignment across didactic and clinical components.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required; if not in nursing, a nursing B.S. and a related graduate degree are required.
• Minimum of three years as a professional registered nurse providing direct patient care.
• Previous teaching experience in a nursing program is preferred.
• Current unencumbered state RN license or enhanced compact license for teaching location.
• Nurse educator certification and national certification in nursing specialty preferred.
• Maintain ongoing professional development in teaching through activities and coursework.

Responsabilités

• Develops and evaluates the philosophy and objectives of the nursing education program.
• Designs, teaches, evaluates, and revises the curriculum; leads simulation in the Nursing Lab.
• Teach didactic courses and supervise clinical practice; address contemporary nursing issues.
• Advises students, facilitates success plans, and remediates at-risk students.
• Maintains records of student performance and adheres to FERPA guidelines.
