Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking an experienced Adjunct Nursing Faculty member to deliver didactic and clinical instruction across the nursing curriculum. You will collaborate with Course Lead Faculty, support student success planning, and help maintain program outcomes.

The role emphasizes teaching excellence, simulation leadership, and adherence to nursing education standards within a dynamic Allied Health division.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required; if not in nursing, must have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and a graduate degree in a related discipline from an accredited program.
• Minimum of three years of work experience as a professional registered nurse providing direct patient care.
• Previous experience teaching in a registered nursing program is preferred.
• Holds a current, unencumbered state RN license or enhanced compact licensure relevant to the state of teaching location.
• Certified Nurse Educator certification and national certification in nursing specialty are preferred.
• Maintains professional competence through ongoing nursing practice, continuing education and scholarly activity.

Responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate didactic and clinical nursing courses according to program objectives.
• Lead simulation learning experiences in the Nursing Lab and participate in curriculum design and evaluation.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback on clinical and theoretical work.
• Coordinate with Course Lead Faculty to develop student success plans and remediate at-risk students.
• Ensure FERPA compliance and maintain documentation of student progress and outcomes.
• Attend faculty meetings and contribute to program policies and reviews.
