Job summary
Arizona College of Nursing (AZC) is seeking a Nursing Adjunct Faculty member to deliver didactic and clinical instruction across nursing courses. You will design and evaluate curriculum, lead simulation sessions, and mentor students while upholding AZC values.
A graduate degree in nursing or related field is preferred, with RN licensure and teaching experience. Positions are typically on-site and part-time.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree required; if not in nursing, must have a BSN and a graduate degree in a related discipline
- Minimum of three years’ work experience as a professional registered nurse providing direct patient care
- Previous experience teaching in a registered nursing program preferred
- Current unencumbered state RN license or enhanced compact license relevant to teaching location
- Certification as Nurse Educator and national certification in nursing specialty preferred
Responsibilities
- Teach didactic and clinical courses for nursing students
- Design, deliver, and evaluate curriculum and learning activities
- Lead simulation learning experiences in Nursing Lab
- Provide feedback and assess student performance with timely feedback
- Maintain FERPA-compliant student records and confidentiality
- Collaborate with Course Lead Faculty to support student success plans
