Job summary
Arizona College of Nursing is seeking a Nursing Adjunct Faculty member to deliver didactic and clinical instruction while upholding our core values of Passion, Excellence, Adaptability, Accountability and Integrity. You will contribute to curriculum development and lead nursing lab simulations.
Responsibilities include teaching, evaluating students, maintaining performance records, and ensuring FERPA compliance.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree required, if not in nursing must have a Bachelor’s in nursing and a graduate degree in a related discipline from an accredited program.
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a professional RN providing direct patient care.
- Previous teaching experience in a nursing program is preferred.
- Current unencumbered state RN license or enhanced compact nursing license for the teaching location.
- Certified Nurse Educator and national certification are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach didactic and clinical nursing courses and evaluate student learning.
- Develop, implement, teach, evaluate, and revise curriculum.
- Lead simulation learning experiences in the Nursing Lab.
- Assign grades for clinical papers and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain records on student performance and ensure FERPA compliance.
- Collaborate with Course Lead Faculty to support student success and remediation.
- Attend faculty meetings and participate in program policy development.
