Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
• Completion of a 30-hour IV Therapy Course for LPNs approved by the Florida Board of Nursing (unless CC 670300 – 4S Psych Pav).

Responsibilities

• Provides technical nursing care to patients under the direction of an RN using the LPN nursing process and standards of practice.
• Assists with patient care assignments appropriate to the patient’s age and developmental level.
