UF Health seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care under the RN and clinician supervision, within LPN scope. You will administer medications, monitor vitals, perform phlebotomy, and support wound and preventive care while educating patients and families.

Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential. Responsibilities include supervising PCTs, documenting care, and responding to patient deterioration with appropriate interventions.

Competenze

• Administer oral and IV medications per plan and physician orders under RN supervision.
• Assist with IV meds and maintenance under RN supervision.
• Document vital signs and patient changes accurately for RN review.

• Provide direct nursing care and implement care plans for assigned patients.
• Monitor and document vital signs; report changes to RN.
• Supervise Patient Care Technicians in activities of daily care.
• Perform phlebotomy and bedside glucose checks as ordered.
• Conduct wound care per physician orders and assess healing progress.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, meds, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate documentation per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
