UF Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide technical nursing care under the direct supervision of an RN. You will apply the nursing process and adhere to LPN standards of practice, delivering care aligned with patients’ age and development.

This role requires graduation from an approved LPN program, a high school diploma or GED, and completion of the Florida 30-hour IV Therapy Course for LPNs (with some exceptions noted in CC 670300 – 4S Psych Pav).

Qualificações

Overview

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) ('direct supervision' means an RN is on the premises and immediately physically available), provides technical nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Assignments are performed appropriately to age and developmental level of patients being served.
Qualifications

Required Education and Training

High school diploma or GED.

Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.

Completion of a 30-hour IV Therapy Course for LPNs approved by the Florida Board of Nursing pursuant to Rule 64B9-5.006. This requirement does not apply to positions in CC 670300 – 4S Psych Pav.

Preferred Experience

• One year of clinical experience.

Demonstrates teamwork and communicates professionally with all members of the healthcare team.

Demonstrates the ability to learn and apply computer technologies and procedures that affect patient care delivery.
