Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or associate degree in nursing is required.
• Active LPN license required.
• BLS certification through AHA required.
• IV Certification required.
• Background check including Level 2 AHCA, MVR, FL Driver’s License, Auto Insurance, ADRD is required.

Responsibilities

• Administers oral and IV medications per care plan under RN supervision.
• Assist in IV medication administration and maintenance as ordered.
• Supervise and participate with Patient Care Tech for vitals and basic care.
• Provide direct patient care, observe condition and report changes to RN.
• Perform phlebotomy and bedside glucose monitoring as ordered.
• Implement preventive care, wound care, and monitor skin status.
• Provide health education to patient and family.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
