Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination across the unit during shifts. The CNC will guide nurses, monitor outcomes, and model an ongoing commitment to the organization’s values and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required.
• 1+ years of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred.
• RN Diploma, Associate Degree, or BSN preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start.
• ACLS Provider card required within 6 months of employment start.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor within patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and assists with supplies and equipment management.
