HCA Florida West Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to ensure high-quality patient-centered care and unit coordination during shifts. You’ll lead the nursing team, direct care delivery, and partner with management to drive outcomes across the department.

The CNC will support admission/discharge flow, staffing, and training of new staff, while promoting a patient-first approach and efficient operations. This role requires RN licensure and related nursing education credentials.

Formación

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse credential is required.
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit, in collaboration with management.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to support teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Supports nursing strategies such as rounding and other engagement initiatives.
• Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training staff and performance actions.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor in line with patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
