HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead nursing care coordination, drive patient-centered outcomes, and support a collaborative management approach. The CNC will guide admissions/discharges, staffing, and staff development within a high-quality, patient-focused unit.

The role emphasizes collaboration with nursing leadership, adherence to policies, and continuous improvement in clinical outcomes, with a focus on service excellence and staff engagement.

Qualifications

• Advanced cardiac life support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Basic life support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Emergency nurse pediatric course within 6 months.
• Neonatal resuscitation within 90 days.
• Nonviolent crisis intervention within 6 months.
• PALS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions and discharge for throughput and quality.
• Oversee nursing care coordination with the management team.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to improve outcomes and service.
• Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery as needed.
• Support engagement through nursing strategies and rounds.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff; implement actions for development and policy compliance.
• Assist with staff scheduling and productivity
• Assist with inventory control and supply management.
