Mission Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to oversee patient-centered care and coordinate unit operations across shifts. The CNC collaborates with nursing leadership to supervise staff, ensure quality outcomes, and maintain adherence to policies and procedures.

The role emphasizes staffing, care coordination, and continuous quality improvement to support an exceptional patient experience in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• RN license required with state board designation.
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within stated timeframes.
• ENPC/PALS certification requirements within one year.
• NIH Stroke Scale, STABLE, and other critical care certifications to be completed on schedule.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training within 90 days.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsabilités

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality care.
• Directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care across the unit during shifts.
• Collaborates with management to improve outcomes and staff engagement.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery efforts.
• Oversees staffing schedules and labor costs per patient care needs.
• Maintains inventory control and manages supplies/equipment.
