Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician for its CVG9 facility in Hebron, KY. You will support the Operations Maintenance team, repairing and maintaining MHE and pneumatic systems, installing and servicing automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) experience
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• High School diploma, or equivalent
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Can commute to the specified work site
• Can commit to a 2-year onsite apprenticeship following a 12-week training period
• Can complete a 12-week training program at a designated training provider

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays
• Maintain a positive working relationship across the Amazon Operations facility
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders safely
