Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems in the Greenfield facility, Indiana. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

The role emphasizes safe operations, hands-on troubleshooting, and collaboration with the Amazon Operations team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Certification from Amazon's Mechatronics & Robotics Apprenticeship Program, or 2+ years of conveyor systems experience.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of safety standards and troubleshooting of MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand for shifts up to 12 hours, and climb ladders safely.
