Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Monroe, OH to support Operations Maintenance, repairing and maintaining MHE and pneumatic systems across the building. You'll install and service automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

The role emphasizes safety, preventative maintenance, and collaboration with Operations teams. Candidates should have strong electromechanical skills and be able to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance on MHE or robotics preferred.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Certification or apprenticeship in Mechatronics or Robotics preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems.
• Install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in MHE.
• Mentor junior technicians and promote a safe work environment.
