Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Wilmington, OH to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians as you grow in the role.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, completing preventive maintenance, and diagnosing MHE issues across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights/weekends.
• 2+ years in automated conveyor systems or related apprenticeship.
• Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Proven safety practices and diagnostics of MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on MHE.
• Maintain positive relations across Amazon Operations facility.
• Ability to move up to 49 lbs and work shifts up to 12 hours.
