Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the facility. You will help install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma noted as baseline, plus 1+ years of Office software experience.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or apprenticeship program completion.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE equipment.
• Maintain positive working relationships across Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and perform bending and lifting as required.
