Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Plainfield, IN to support Operations Maintenance by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install and service automated packaging/distribution gear and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Starting pay includes base rate plus shift differential with total compensation opportunities. Comprehensive healthcare from day one, 401(k) with match, and up to 20 weeks of parental leave

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma required.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting MHE and safety standards experience.
• Certification from Mechatronics/Robotics Apprenticeship or 2+ years of automated conveyor experience.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment.
• Repair mechanical and electrical components of MHE and pneumatic systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging/distribution equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians and document maintenance activities.
• Ensure a safe work environment and adhere to safety procedures.
