Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team across our Indiana facility. You will repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, install and service automated packaging machinery, and mentor junior technicians to help grow their skills.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and hands-on diagnostics with opportunities to advance through the interview process.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• Certification from Amazon's Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program, or 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience.
• 2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years demonstrating safety standards experience.
• 2+ years troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE).

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment.
• Maintain positive working relationships across all Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand for long shifts, climb ladders and perform bending and lifting as needed.
