Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or apprenticeship program.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE (belts, motors, sensors, relays).
• Maintain positive working relationships across Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders safely, and lift/bend/reach as needed.
