Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution gear and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE including belts, motors, relays, etc.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across the Operations facility.
• Move up to 49lbs, stand/walk up to 12 hours, climb ladders and perform bending, lifting and reaching.
