Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. You'll install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, while mentoring junior technicians.

Starting pay is hourly with shift differentials; benefits begin Day 1, with 401(k) matching and paid parental leave.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE equipment.
• 2+ years of conveyor systems and controls experience, or apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across Amazon Operations facilities.
• Ability to move up to 49lbs and work shifts up to 12 hours; climb ladders safely.
